Curtis Island

2020-21, 52 mins in production (working title)

This filmic memoir consists of a collection of sea stories as they have been experienced on Curtis Island or in the broader Penobscot Bay and Atlantic Ocean waters that surround it.  Stories of islands, boats, capsize, lighthouses, ocean swimming, whales, and other creatures of the sea are shared by David Conover's mother Deedee and others, with personal voice-over woven throughout.
