While Camille grew up in Connecticut, she credits her childhood summers in Maine for shaping her love of sailing and coastal waters. Before joining Compass Light as an Associate Producer in July 2018, Camille was a producer at Rue Guilt Group and assisted with the restoration of a 1926 Herreshoff yacht called Marilee. When working on a book and accompanying film on the boat’s history and restoration, Camille discovered her interest in filmmaking. At CL, Camille’s work has ranged from production to assistant editing to cost reporting – ask her about Excel and you may learn something you never knew you wanted to know! Her dog and office companion Lila Bean joins Camille for sails and gardening, but you can also find Camille experimenting with her camera and working on innovative storytelling projects. She studied economics at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, focusing on environmental and feminist economics.
